Wisconsin bill would give veteran status to Hmong and Laotian soldiers who fought in ‘Secret War’

MADISON – The Hmong and Laotian soldiers who clandestinely helped the U.S. fight during the Vietnam War could soon be formally recognized as veterans, thanks to newly introduced legislation.
